Help Woodbridge Crew At the Car Wash & Bazaar (Yard Sale) on October 10th

Parents and Rowers,
We will need "all hands on deck" this weekend as we hold our first annual Bazaar and Car Wash Combo Fundraiser!!
(Many seniors are taking SAT's; please join us afterwards to help out!)
We will need car wash coordinators, bazaar coordinators, sales people, cashiers, and sorters! With two events running at the same time, we'll need double the workforce.

** ITEMS for the bazaar can be dropped off Friday night from 5-9 outside the lower cafeteria of Woodbridge High. You may also bring items Saturday morning at set-up time.
**SET UP for the Bazaar will begin at 7:00 a.m. Please note, this is a morning/day event.
**CAR WASH will begin at 9:00 a.m.

NVRC Junior Fall Rowing Camp

Northern Virginia Rowing Club
Fall Rowing at Sandy Run Park

The Northern Virginia Rowing Club Fall Rowing Program for Junior Boys and Girls. The program will be headed by Bill Randle (new TJ boys coach, former coach at West Springfield High School, former varsity lightweight coach at the US Coast Guard Academy, and a member of the 1987 US National Team). The program will provide an opportunity for experienced high school rowers (at least one year of experience required and two is preferred) to row in eights, fours and maybe even a little sculling on the Occoquan River. This is not a Learn-to-Row program.

Please think about having your rowers join us for a fall rowing program dedicated to improving skills, getting in lots of miles, and compete in some of the local head races. The program will run from Wednesday 9 September 2009 to Saturday 31 October 2009.

Practices will be held four days a week: Monday, Wednesdays and Thursday from 4:30 to 6:45 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at the Sandy Run Rowing Facility on the Occoquan River. Early registrants get preference in the event the program fills.
